My Story
Back in 2016 there was ALOT of things happening in my life. Without going into to much detail here I was becoming overwhelmed with all the different roles I had. A friend had approached me about joining her team for a fragrance company. I felt at the time that I just could NOT add anything more to my plate. I did love the products, but I simply thought I did not have the time. Other aspects of my life were drowning me already but little did I know that a side business was just the life saver I needed. In the first few days of 2017 I made a decision. A decision that I could not live the way I was living. Physically, emotionally, financially, I could not sustain. I needed an outlet. I didn't graduate from college, I didn't know anything about sales, I didn't have time to spare, and I didn't know much about the products except that they smell good and made me happy. Despite all of that I knew something had to change so I took a leap and I joined my friends team and didn't look back. I trained myself, watched videos, went to events, and learned all I could to soak up this business. I forged and fought my way through. Scentsy was my outlet. I was able to compartmentalize things and transform as a person. The first convention (SFR) I attended in July of 2017 not only changed my outlook on this business but also on my life. The growth that I have experienced in the almost 7 years I have been a consultant is something most people can't even imagine. Physically, emotionally, financially I am so much better off than I was back in 2016. The only thing that I regret is that I didn't join sooner. Scentsy can be a vehicle, like it was for me, to change your own life. I am proof of that.
